Martins West offers a wide range of private event capabilities. Whether it is an elegant reception, a happy hour event, a sit down dinner or a full Buy Out, we handle all of the details of the gathering.
Martins West Gastropub is equipped with a semi-private room which can be configured in many different ways depending on what style of event you are looking to host. The room is separated from the bar area and kitchen with thick curtains which can be closed for a more private feel, or left open, depending on which you prefer.
We can also use the entire restaurant for full dining or even set it up for any other style of event that you would like to host, casino night, dance floor with DJ or private lounge.
Executive Chef / Owner Michael Dotson has created menus for all occasions based on the seasons and assists in selecting wines and cocktails to perfectly complement your menu. We are also able to provide custom floral arrangements, printed menus and audio services.

All pricing is quoted by food and beverage minimums. Everything purchased while using the space is applied to the food and beverage minimum, and if the minimum is not met, the remainder will be applied to the bill as a “rental fee”. These prices do not include California State tax and 20% gratuity. Please contact [email protected] for specific date and event pricing.
Semi-Private Room Rentals (Partial)
The semi-private room can be partially reserved for cocktail groups of 25 or fewer, or dinner groups of 20 or fewer with a food and beverage minimum, Monday-Thursday. If one of these areas is rented, Martins West retains the right to seat other diners/ groups in the area which is not reserved.
Semi-Private Room Rental (Complete)
The semi-private room can be reserved for cocktail parties of up to 75 people, sit down dinner groups from 18-50, and it is perfect for combined cocktail parties followed by dinner. If the semi-private room is rented, the room will be yours for the entire evening.
Martins West Buy Out (Rental of Entire Restaurant)
Martins West can be yours for a day or evening! This option leaves you the most amount of flexibility and we can accommodate anywhere from 50-120 people for sit down dinners or as many as 250 for a cocktail party. We will work closely with you on customizing a perfect event for you and your friends.
Happy Hour Parties
Happy hour parties for groups of 15 or more can be booked through management. Please call in advance to hold space for your group. We do not reserve cocktail tables for groups of less than 15 people. We do not reserve these spaces without food and beverage minimums, but are thrilled to work with local companies to stay within their budget. We usually are able to reduce the food and beverage minimums by 50% as long as we can have the tables back by 7pm for our dinner rush.
We have a passed appetizer list for groups of 40+ that changes seasonally. Appetizers are “bite-sized” and are served on a per person basis at 1 and a half appetizer per person. Dinner Menus for Groups of 35 and more
We have created 3 dinner menu options for groups of over 35 to consider.
All groups larger than 30 will be served family style for appetizers unless previously discussed with event coordinator. Food and beverage minimums and seating options vary depending on the time and day of the week, size of your group and season.

Event Polices for Parties Booked with Minimum Purchase Commitments
A signed contract with valid credit card confirms your reservation. If you cancel your event within 7 days of the event, we will charge 50% of the minimum purchase agreed upon. Your final guest count is required 72 hours prior to the date of your event. this guest count will be the minimum we charge on a pre-determined per person food price. This final guest count will be the number that you will be charged for at the time of the event regardless of attendance. Notices of significant decrease in number of party due to unforeseeable circumstances will be handled at management’s discretion. Increases in your final count are subject to all applicable charges. Martins West will try to accommodate up to 10% last minute increases in your guest count. Direct billing may be arranged with 30 day advance notice.
Event Polices for Parties Booked without Minimum Purchase Commitments
- Checks will be split no more than 3 ways on provided credit cards and/or cash.
- For parties on Friday and Saturday night, if 75% of your party has not arrived within the 15 minute grace period, we reserve the right to release some of the tables if not all.
- Please order from the wait person provided for your group and do not order from the bar after you have been seated unless approved with manager.
- If groups have not arrived by the agreed upon time, nor contacted the restaurant, the tables will be given away and the group will be charged the deposit.
- We charge a $20 per person “no show” fee for any guests who do not attend the event within the 24 hour window prior to the date of the event in which we ask for the final headcount.
All wine selections should be made 1 week prior to the date of your event to ensure availability. Wine prices are subject to change according to winery polices. We do not permit groups of 15 or more to bring wine to the restaurant unless previously discussed with event coordinator and corkage fee for group wines does not apply to food and beverage minimum.
The menu and all other details for your event must be finalized a minimum of 10 days prior to your event and are subject to the terms and conditions of Martins West. All menu items are subject to change due to seasonal availability and unpredictable seasonal fluctuations. No menu changes will be made by Martins West 5 days prior to your event without clearing it with the host of the event. However, if menu items have not been pre-selected by the date stated on the contract, the menu choices will be left to Chef Michael Dotson’s discretion.
Service Charges, Other Costs & Taxes
A 20% service charge will be added to the final amount of your bill. The cost of any pre-arranged rental items will be added directly to the final bill. All service charges and other ancillary provisions (flowers or rental equipment) and are subject to applicable sales tax.
Martins West retains the right to terminate the service to alcoholic beverages at any time during the course of the function to any and all guests who do not conduct themselves in a respectful manner. Martins West must comply with all the local and federal laws pertaining to the service of alcoholic beverages.
